The Graphic Artist/Designer is responsible for the design and appearance of various Auto Club print and digital design projects. Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Must demonstrate creativity in various design platforms including, but not limited to, members publications, cartography, and a wide variety of marketing materials. Design elements must be organized and comprehensive in a manner to capture the intended audience and align with our core brand and standards. Responsible for creating a variety of projects in various print to digital formats.

Responsibilities:
Design multiple page/projects with an understanding of a wide variety of design styles and concepts.

Create page layouts, marketing materials, and graphic elements, with a strong understanding of typography, color, balance, and composition.

Serves as in-house expert on layout programs and processes.

Ability to develop and guide visual concepts based on collaboration with editors and internal partners.

Qualifications:
4-year college education in Graphic Design or Fine/Studio Arts or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Two to four years graphic design/art direction experience preferred.

Experience researching and assigning freelance artists.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat).

Advanced ability to understand and effectively communicate and execute complex assignments.

Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize a variety of assignments required.

Advanced communication skills; ability to effectively interact with vendors and stakeholders within the organization.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$64,480.00 - $79,300.00
Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
