Atlas Engineered Controls LLC is accepting applications for a Controls Engineer to work in our Kansas City, KS office.

Duties:

Developing, testing and installing/commissioning PLC programs using Rockwell Studio 5000
Developing, testing and installing/commissioning HMI applications using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/ME
Designing electrical panels for automation applications
Configuring computer systems and software applications

Required Skills:

Able to read and write PLC logic in Rockwell Studio 5000 including ladder, function block and structured text
Able to create and test HMI applications in Rockwell FactoryTalk View Studio
Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel
Able to travel to project sites
Must comply with government and company mandated safety screenings and drug & alcohol testing

Desired Skills and Experiences:

Able to work with various communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, DeviceNet, etc)
Able to read and follow P&ID's
Experience with automation platforms other than Allen-Bradley a plus
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
